Empowering Academic Excellence
The Division of Academic Affairs provides leadership for the advancement, implementation and assessment of student success, teaching excellence, accountability, learning and success initiatives. The division is comprised of many departments, focused on ensuring world-class academic programs, distinctive educational experiences and continuous growth of educational offerings and academic support functions.
The Academic Effectiveness & Planning (AEP) Team facilitates the curricular review process, with particular attention to the complete and accurate submission of all documentation required by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, as well as SACSCOC.
Every Aggie deserves a chance at an Aggie diploma, and the Academic Success Center exists to support them in that endeavor. The ASC houses tutoring services, supplemental instruction, academic coaching, fresh start orientation, and the TX Success Initiative.
We educate the campus community about the Aggie Code of Honor and respond to potential academic misconduct. Our office facilitates remediation efforts for students, ensuring a fair process that upholds the university’s core values and academic integrity.
The Citizenship and Service Program is a shared commitment to civic engagement. We ensure every Aggie carries the spirit of civic friendship from campus into the community, fostering meaningful service throughout Texas and beyond.
We provide supervised study and tutorial sessions to empower student-athletes in their pursuit of excellence through objective-based learning and time management. Our initiatives also focus on professional development, personal growth, and leadership to prepare student-athletes for life after graduation.
The Center for Teaching Excellence offers instructional professional development for those engaged in the teaching mission of Texas A&M University.

The Math Learning Center supports student success in mathematics, statistics, and quantitative reasoning courses. Our mentors and faculty provide tutoring, workshops, and study sessions in a welcoming environment to help students master conceptual and practical math skills across all disciplines.
We support undergraduate transitions by connecting students with essential resources and community. The OSS houses academic advising, EAB Navigate, the First-Year Experience, the Routh First-Gen Center, and the Transfer Student Program.
OIEE uses data-informed assessment of student learning and administrative functions to drive institutional effectiveness. We are committed to ensuring a high-quality, equitable experience for all students by assisting faculty and staff in the continuous improvement of their programs and processes.
The Office of National Fellowships at Texas A&M University supports students in pursuing nationally and internationally competitive awards.

The Office of Undergraduate Research at Texas A&M University enhances the undergraduate experience for all students across campus.
Through PPIP, undergraduate and graduate students actively participate in the policy process at the state and national level. Our credit-bearing internship program is offered year-round, allowing students to participate in the fall, spring or summer semesters.
Transition Academic Programs communicates academic information to students that is focused on each student’s goal to complete a degree. Our knowledge base, services, and programs reflect the broad scope of Undergraduate Studies.

The University Writing Center provides one-to-one and group consultations for writing and public speaking. We offer online and face-to-face support, digital resources, and specialized workshops or retreats designed to help students and faculty excel in communication across all academic disciplines.
